The Institutional Capacity Building Activities on Guyana Sea Defences Project is being carried out by a
Consortia under the lead of Royal Haskoning.

Netherlands and Guyana:

ITC, the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth
Observation, that plays a lead role in capacity building activities in the
fields of remote sensing, the application of satellite data and GIS
systems.
The Training Programme held in the Netherlands will be carried out
by ITC.

SRKN'gineering |
SRKN’gineering is a leading Guyanese civil
engineering consultancy
firm with its head office in Georgetown and primarily
involved in river,
coastal, structural and general civil engineering projects
throughout Guyana. Their work often includes the design and construction
supervision of
river and sea defences, highways, urban/rural drainage systems,
schools etc., which are either financed by the Government of Guyana or
international financing agencies such as the Inter-American Development Bank
(IADB)
and Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).
