During the project data have been collected
for the project Institutional Capacity Building Activities on Guyana Sea Defences. The objective of this part of the project is to establish reliable
baseline data for sea defences management and shore zone management.
The following data have been collected and can be viewed and downloaded
from the web:
• Sea Defence Condition Survey data
• Data from the bathymetry Survey
• Meteorological data (wind)
• Wave data
• Hydrological data (rainfall, discharge)
• Water level data
• Current data
• Salinity data
• Sediment sampling data
• Levelling data
• Mangrove Survey data
• Satellite imagery data
The gathered data will be stored into the GIS-database 4SHORE at Guyana Sea
Defences (see
Technical Activities / GIS).
